We had the incredible honor to speak to a capacity crowd of about 200 Seawolf veterans and their families. These are men (yes, they were all men at that time) who have “been there, done that” in their blood—and the tattoos to prove it.
Our novels are full of the kind of exploits for which the USS Seawolf is justifiably famous. In addition to submarines, we also write about the men and women of all the services who work every day to keep our country safe.
Their stories remind us that service is not just what we do, but who we are.

They gave a compelling 30-minute talk sharing their backgrounds and how they co-write their novels. Their presentation was engaging, insightful, and filled with humor that kept the audience laughing and fully tuned in. They truly owned the room.
It was a pleasure to watch them speak—and even more of a pleasure to now count them as Navy buddies.
